In Singapore, MUIS (Majlis Ugama Islam Singapura), the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore, is the sole Islamic authority in charge of Muslim affairs. Among its activities, it is the only body empowered to issue halal certification in the country, and regulates the halal industry and market in Singapore.
The MUIS has delivered an official accreditation to the ARGML, to certify halal products manufactured in France and in Europe, for its market.
