De term halal is een begrip dat voortkomt uit de islamitische schriftuurlijke bronnen: de Koran en de Soenna.<\/p>\n

Het bepaalt wat geoorloofd en toegestaan is in het leven van een moslim. Het staat tegenover “Har\u00e2m” dat verwijst naar wat verboden is.<\/p>\n

Halal is een middel en een voorwaarde voor de weg naar de Schepper en is daarom van fundamenteel belang voor moslims. <\/p>\n

Per definitie wordt al het voedsel van niet-dierlijke oorsprong als halal beschouwd, met uitzondering van bedwelmende producten zoals wijn, schadelijke producten zoals vergif, hallucinerende producten zoals drugs, onreinheden zoals bloed en producten die een van deze als additief bevatten, zelfs in kleine hoeveelheden.<\/p>\n

De volgende additieven kunnen van plantaardige of dierlijke (niet-halal gecertificeerde) oorsprong zijn. Neem contact op met de consumentendiensten om hun herkomst te controleren. Als zij niet duidelijk als van plantaardige oorsprong worden ge\u00efdentificeerd, moeten zij worden vermeden.
